Planting not appearing in a linked Revit project

As a 3ds Max Design novice, but trying to get the most from my Building Design Suite subscrition, is there a simple reason why the planting which I included in my Revit model does not appear when imported into 3ds Max design?  It is probably something that need sto be turned on but I am struggling to find it.

are you using archvision rpc content in revit?

Yes I am. Have since seen some posts regarding an issue with this but have tried following some of the workarounds with no success.  Help would be much appreciated.

i believe if you installed the arch vision plug in for 3ds Max the plants will come in

i think this is a licensing thing between Autodesk and Archvision that they are only allowing Revit to use the content for free
