Newly added edges fade-in

Since 3ds max 2016, when I use connect, swift loop,... for adding new edges, the new edges always 'fade-in'. It's very annoying because I can't always verify if adding the edges succeeded. Is there any option to turn the fading-in off?

Thanks in advance

Uncheck Viewport configuration->Display Performance->Improve Quality Progressively.

Please also report this as a bug here:

Btw, are you on Win10?

Strange.

It worked for me on two different PC`s.

Seems like a bug/glitch introduced by Win10.

Windows10 is not officially supported by 3dsmax.
