[Max 2014, Backburner] - Renderfarm using studio computers

Hello,

I work at my university's computer studio where we hold a small render farm for 3ds Max. In our studio we also have 10 computers that are open to the students. I would like to utilze these computers as part of the render farm. I know how to do this but running a render very quickly slows the computers down as they are using their power for the render.

I would like to still use them as part of the render farm but force the server to be absent when a student is currently using the computer.

Any help at all would be much appreciated.

Thanks,

Search the Rendering forum - I'm sure there are some scripts to stop BB when someone logs in and restart it when they log out.

Here's some info in the Max help:

http://help.autodesk.com/cloudhelp/2015/ENU/3DSMax/files/GUID-9CDDAD98-A979-488F-B509-641FAF246649.h...

Keep in mind that this is for Backburner jobs, not Distributed Bucket Rendering.  I'm not aware of a similar functionality for DBR, but it would be great if there was.
