Materials show as black in 3DS Max 2015 Trial Ver. HELP!

Hello.

Whenever I open a model (I have only tried .max), the materials always show up as black.

Can someone help me?

If this helps, I keep getting this when I open the file

Missing DLLs:

FileName: vrender90.dlr Class: VRayMtl SuperClass: 0xC00

FileName: vrender90.dlr Class: VRayHDRI SuperClass: 0xC10

FileName: vrender90.dlr Class: V-Ray DEMO 1.50.17 SuperClass: 0xF00

The models were created on a system with Vray installed (Vray is a 3rd party renderer with its own materials, cameras etc). Replace the Vray materials with built-in ones (Standard, Arch&Design etc). Or go to the Chaos Group website and download the demo version of Vray.
If you load Max and create your own models and materials this should not be a problem, only with downloaded models.
