Importing from inventor every part has error? (inventor 2014 > 3ds max2015)

Well i'm trying to upload some files in 3ds max (for the first time)

The inventor parts are already made by some1 else and i'm trying to import them into 3ds max.

I took a small part from the bigger assembly to start debugging the problem.

Well this is really hard as all the files are giving me an error.

(see image)

As I can't seem to figure out where the problem lies I hoped to hear a couple of know errors with importing from inventor.

Thanks in advance,

Are you logged as exbasi01 windows user?

Move your inventor assembly to c:\inventor instead of a desktop user to see the difference, could be a permission problem.

Make sure you have all service packs installed for both softwares.

Maybe you have a problem with your Autodesk Direct Connect 2014 or 2015.

yes I'm logged on to "exbasi01" and I thought it would be good idea to work of the desktop (maybe not so)

I will get the IT department on all the updates and hotfixes (stupid restrictions).

still working on debugging it and I start to see some wierd things in the Inventor files will get back on this later today.

Thanks everyone for helping out!

I don't know why but I think these errors got something to do with the export to Body objects or Meshes.

Could someone maybe explain whats the real difference?

Body Objects are something like "on the fly meshes" but the origin data are there to generate the meshes. So you can change the mesh quality every time...

If you import inventor objects as meshes, you setup zhe mesh quality one time, while importing and you can't change it after import...
