Center gizmo after selecting 2 symmetric

Hi,

 

Just a quick qustion, how do I get the gizmo to be centered between the 2 edges after selecting them? (the object is symmetrical)

 

I'm using 3ds max 2014,

Hello! This is done through the Command Panel  - Hierarchy panel Adjust Pivot rollout Affect Pivot Only. In your case select Affect Pivot Only and then click on Center to Object should do it. 🙂

That's for moving the Pivot Point of an object, not for sub-object selections.

On the main Toolbar, the button immediately to the right of the drop-down list which probably says "View". Click and hold until the Flyout appears, select the middle of the 3 options - "Use Selection Center".
