Hi All,
I have found out that Autodesk create a share Autodesk Material Library for Autocad and Revit. You can even edit this library in Revit.
In Revit you can create and save a new library of materials , but it saves it like .ADSKLIB file which I can’t open in 3ds Max.
But on the other hand when you are opening 3ds Max Mat Library you can see all the Standard materials that you have in Revit and Autocad!
Question:
Is there a way to create New Materials library in 3ds Max (cause it is easier to test textures) that will share the materials with Revit and 3ds Max?
The workflow I want to archive:
1. Create Autodesk Material with nice textures inside 3ds Max
2. Save to Company Material Library
3. Open Revit and add this library to the project
4. Add physical properties to these materials
5. Safe material Library
So when I will export or link Revit files to Max I will use the same materials.
Thanks for help guys
