Anyone know how to render the actual light meter grid on top of a rendering?

Hi folks. I'm trying to render out a view in 3ds max design using the new lighting analysis tool. Currently when you render out you only get the lighting values on points either on the light meter or for "flat" for the entire view.

What i am trying to do is produce a plan view with the values as well as showing the light meter grid.

If anyone has any suggestions please comment. Currently I'm doing post production placing linework in Photoshop..

thanks all,

Rick

Did you ever figure this out? I just started looking at it myself.

how are you doing your post-production? The only method I see available is a screen shot and clip out the max viewport in photoshop.

are you using vray? if so - you should be able to use the Vray illuminance Element...
