Alt Does not Deselect

Hi,

I use 3dsmax 2014. Switched to maya interaction mode cause all my software use the same interaction mode like unity3D and a few more and I want to get used to that.

Then unchecked Maya mode selection in customize user interface cause I prefer 3dsmax selection mode. plus being able to shift + move and make clones of objects.

However my alt key doesn't work and I can not deselect any object.

I read other answers to this common problem and I didn't find the one I was looking for. Is there a simple solution for that or I need to go through keyboard button mapping?

Well I found the solution here and it perfectly works.
