3dsMax 2014 Chamfer slider changed interactive arrows from horiz to vert?

The chamfer slider hase changed from horizontal slider to vertical slider.

Is there any way to change this back to the original. It was not broken before and it now feels unatural and ultimatly slows me down.

Which Max version was vertical?

The old dialog boxes (I think 2010 was the last version with them) were vertical as everything else in 3ds max! The new "Caddies" which were introduced in Max 2011 were the first and the only horizontal sliders ever in max!

The whole max community was going crazy against this inconsistency! Thank god in 2014 they changed them to vertical and also brought back the old dialog boxes as a second option in preferences settings...

It's really funny that you now want them back horizontally Smiley Very Happy

There were masses of threads against the caddies and their behavior....

ADSK you really can't please everyone....

cheers

That "problem" would have NEVER existed had they not mucked it up in the first place...lol

I must have forgotten. Wow what a mess. After using the Horizontal sliders daily for 4 years kind of makes you forget the old controls and now I am used to it.
