this is one of the most asked questions for the dev team. you can, and many do run Max on a mac using bootcamp, personally i've done it when we had a mac in the studio, ivetried it also using parallels desktop, this i wouldnot reccomend as Max needs/want as much of the system resources you can give and parallels keep half back for the mac to continue to run the ios.
Autodesk have developed a system for running their products on the cloud through a browser, host end is windows but the remote end can be any operating system, windows mac or linux.
