3D view cut off problem

Hi guys

Since today Im having a problem with a new project I started. I imported a 3D studio file from Archicad to 3dsmax Design 2015.

Problem: Whenever I wana see inside the building, in perspective of with a camera the sides of the building are being cut off for some reason. I can't see what I will render because of this and I can barely select anything in a 3D view.

The problem does not ocure in other files

Does anyone know a solutions for this?

Specs: Macbook pro retina 15, Bootcamp Win 8.1

Any tips are welcome 🙂

Could be a lot of things, but  i remember having the same problem, and my solution was to delete this cam and create a new one.

Hi,

I think your system unit is big and your imported model is very small,

For example, if your system unit (not to be confused with the display unit) is in Meters,

And your model is made using a 1 unit = 1 mm then you can expect something like this.

Now if you don't want to start all over, then what you can do is click on the Viewport's name

then choose Viewport Clipping, two yellow rectangles will appear on the right side,

Drag the upper one all the way up and the lower one all the way down
