What is the CAT-correct way to add gizmos to spline IK helpers so that they flawlessly work together with CAT?
How exactly does the "add gizmo" function work to integrate a gizmo into the CAT system?

I found CATriggingRCM.ms which explains every step. But leaves me wondering if all the Spline IK objects and helpers have to be added to the CAT system as well (using the AddExtraRigNodes() function or something).
Or another solution:
1. For every Spline IK helper add an extra bone to the limb the IK system is working on.
2. Align the extra bones to the helpers.
3. Position and Orientation-Constraint the helpers to their bones.
4. "Add Gizmo"s to every bone.
5. Hide the Bones.
Would this be a valid CAT workflow? Will I run into problems with this?

How are you supposed to use "Freeze Transform" with CAT generated Gizmos and helpers?
