Whats the best way to constrain the bottom lip bones to the lower jaw, so when I rotate the jaw bone down the mouth makes an oval type shape?
Digital Tutors had a series on rigging the face for games using the bones system, but I want to use CAT. That tutorial used a plane for each lip bone, parented each bones to the plane, and then weighted the planes verticies appropiately to the head and jaw bones. So when the the jaw is rotated down, the planes made the "oval" shape. (see screenshot) The problem is that I can't constrain the CAT lip bones to each plane.
Is there another solution that would achieve the same result?
