XYZ Coordinates not working 3DS MAX 2014

Hello Guys, 

I have been plagued with problems with the new 3ds Max 2014. 

My XYZ coordinates are completely empty. this is both when hovering around and transforming objects. I am using 3ds Max 2014.

I hvae read that to toggle this back on i should press (X) or (CTRL SHIFT X)

However,

X brings up "search all actions" and "CTRL + Shift + X" doesn't do anything?

Also,

My shift and drag does not copy any geometry 

and Click + Shift + select does not loop select ?

Can anyone help please?

That is always blank, until you select an object, then it turns into the transform type-in (Absolute or Offset modes).

It's not the same as a co-ordinate read-out area, e.g. AutoCad or similar.

Where are the XYZ coordinates located then? As i am watching online tutor's via Digital Tutors and the tutorial has XYZ coordinates in those boxes when he 

hovers around the viewport?

Not sure if it was fixed since that post, doesn't seem like it was.

Ahhhh thanks for this hopefully it sorted in the next service pack 🙂

Could you shed any light on any of my other problems?

I don't know if Max ever had shift loop selection cycling, like the process in AutoCad? Did it?

As for shift dragging not creating copies/instrances/referances.... That's a wierd one alright.

You have the move tool selected first yeah? The shift key is actually working..? Normally, outside of Max?

Do you have Interaction mode changed to Maya?

Customise menu -> Preferences -> Interaction Mode tab.

Maya mode turns off the ability to [SHIFT] clone.

In relation to the loop selection i am referencing to this.

and yes my shift buttion works just fine and yes i am in my move tool it just doesn't want to play ball :s? 

It's not the end of the world because of course i can just press CTRL +V and create my copies and then move them. 

But it would nice if they worked lol

That has solved my problem on that front. 

This is a fairly new install so it actually wasn't set to either. 

Now it works as it should except for the coordinates.

No problem, I was looking for a 3rd party plug-in that would display the coords but found nothing. 😕

Just noticed that the Coordinate system is working again in 2015 🙂
