Missing Plugins in Backburner 2014 render without error?

Anyone know why Backburner 2014 allows frames to render on servers with missing plugins without generating errors? Is there any defaults that need to change? We have a fresh install of Max 2014 + Backburner 2014.

It's a complete FAIL from Autodesk to change that behaviour from 2013 to 2014.

3dsmax 2013 didn't render over Backburner without the appropiate plugins.

WHO needs wrong rendered frames instead of no frames?

It's a huge waste of time and rendertime (MONEY).

And by the way 3dsmax sometimes completelly forgets his system path settings, leading to some renderclients forgetting about the additional plug-in paths, rendering without them and MESSING up our render jobs. I would like to beat the crap out of the responsible programmer or product manager.

Please change it back or tell us the hidden setting to change it back !!!

And stop sabotaging our work with crappy tweaks like this one.

Looks like SP3 does not address this issue yet.

I have Max Design installed but when I want to use network rendering it says that plugin is not installed. How do I remedy that problem. Can I not just activate the plugin from within 3DS Max Design like I would any standard plugin? I don't want to install the app all over again. On one computer it works on all the others it does not and reports as said, no plugin for network rendering installed.
